The production of PCR containers involves an arduous process of collecting, sorting and cleaning after-sales materials. The reduction in environmental impact is of course invaluable.

In cooperation with Daai Technology, our PCR process started with the collection of used PET plastic bottles by the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation.

Founded in 1966, Tzu Chi is one of the largest charities in Taiwan. Every year, nearly 2,000 tons of PET bottles are collected from 5,400 Tzu Chi recycling stations across the country.

The volunteers carefully followed this process to collect each bottle one by one:

The bottles are sorted and then cleaned. They go through bales, crushers, vibrators and separators. After that, they are crushed into flakes and finally melted into PET resin. From there we can completely use this post-consumer recycled material to produce "new" containers.
